President - Brandon Horsley

Hello, my name is Brandon.  My major is Elementary Education with a focus area of History.  I am an active member in the fraternity, Sigma Beta Tau.  I'm from Atco, New Jersey and graduated from Hammonton High School in 2009.  I work in Undergraduate Admissions as a Student Ambassador.  Some of my hobbies include playing basketball, football, baseball, and just having a good time.  I enjoy meeting new people.  I am always open to new things and of course new ideas.  One of my favorite things to do is make people laugh and also laugh myself.  I consider myself a leader and an ambitious person.  I think one of my best qualities is just having an open ear.  I have no problem listening to anyone about anything.  Helping people out is a passion that I have and something that I truly enjoy doing.  My motto is and always will be, "Shoot for the stars and always dream big." I hope you chose me to be your Junior Class President.  Thank you.

Treasurer - Melanie Calatayud

"You can't judge a book by its cover", so here’s a little about myself. I'm Melanie Crystal, you can call me Mel. I am a very fun person, down to earth and live life the fullest, yet one day at a time. I'm a huge geek, I put my studies before anything else, and of course God and my family, I like to read, I enjoy art, watch soccer games, travel, play laser tag, go camping, I  love to eat sprinkles, and the list goes on. Most of all I am proud to be a cougar, and even though there’s many materialistic things that can be taken away from me, my VOICE is something that never will.

Secretary - Gregory J. Benedict Jr.

My name is Gregory J. Benedict Jr. and I am running for Junior Class Secretary. I am in Nu Delta Pi Fraternity and I am also the secretary of that organization as well, and I love the position. I'm from Cherry Hill, NJ and I'm an Undergraduate student majoring in both Political Science and Public Administration. Shortly before beginning my first semester I interned for Garden State Equality, an organization that furthers the cause of LGBT rights, and worked for the Corzine Campaign. When I graduate I look forward to enrolling in Rutgers' joint MBA/MPP program. My ultimate goal is to get involved in public policy and eventually become a successful social entrepreneur.
